CCSHH is committed to addressing the medical, surgical, dental, and spiritual needs of the Honduran poor and to improving their quality of life.

Provides quality ophthalmic and dental care for the poor who are unable to afford medical services elsewhere.

Actively develops and participates in community education programs placing an emphasis on:

• the prevention of blindness and dental disease
• healthy living practices promoting good nutrition and sanitation.
• the provision of spiritual support

CCSHH is located in El Progreso, Yoro, Honduras. The center was founded in 1997 by Dr. Douglas Perry, a Florida ophthalmologist, in collaboration with Willie Hunter, the General Director of MMI, and Rev. Daniel Castro and his wife Ruth.

Since its inception, the CCSHH clinic (an MMI 500 Center) has developed into a successful and growing Christian facility committed to serving the poor of Honduras.
