"MINI" EYE AND DENTAL BRIGADES
Are staffed by teams of eye technicians and dental personnel who visit rural areas on a regular basis. The “team” goes to a community where town leaders have helped our staff organize, and publicize, the day’s program for the general public.
Activities include visual acuity exams, eye consultations, fluoride treatments for the children, dental and eye safety education. Referrals are made to the El Progreso clinics for those requiring further treatment.
